Under the guidance of the Monitoring and Evaluation Leader, the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Specialist will provide support and technical assistance to plan, design and inform deployment of robust MEL system for WorldFish and the FISH CRP. S/he will support projects in developing work plans, MEL frameworks, strategy documents, and field activities. By doing this s/he will ensure the WorldFish projects are integrated with and operate alongside the existing MEL framework. S/he will support the use of digital platform and Management Information Systems to support research, knowledge sharing and data management for a proficient result-based system focus on aquaculture and fisheries.

This is an Internationally Recruited Staff (IRS) position with annual salary ranging between USD 43,000 to USD 47,000 gross per annum. WorldFish's IRS shall receive comprehensive benefits including (but not limited to) housing allowance*, relocation and repatriation assistance*, dependent education allowance*, home leave entitlement*, comprehensive insurance coverage for staff and eligible dependents, and pension/provident fund contribution.

Our Offer

The position will be based in Penang, Malaysia. The initial employment contract will be for a 2-year period, with possibility for renewal depending on performance of and the availability of funding.
